Upon completing her graduate work at UC Berkeley, Margaret moved to Santa Cruz, Ca. and devoted herself to her studio work. Her idea driven approach to making art resulted in bodies of work completed in a range of materials from ferro cement to paper mache. While raising her son, working as a decorative painter and teaching, Margaret found that time for making art was elusive and rare. Today, Margaret is again devoted to her studio work and has completed a series of paintings in oil on paper and small beeswax sculptures. She continues to live and work in Santa Cruz and is a resident at the Tannery Arts Center.
